Question by Laura in North Carolina: Have you read any good war memoirs by women?

I've read "Jarhead", "Born on the Fourth of July", and I'm reading "MASH" now. I was curious if there were any good war memoirs written by women. I think something by like a WWI military nurse or one of the first female Marines/sailors/soliders/airmen would be interesting.

Let me introduce you to the brilliant and brave Margaret Bourke-White. She was the real deal.
