Generally biographies and autobiographies start from a halfway point in someone's life, and event that can be looked back from.. and then bring the reader up to speed on how that has changed the person since..
So if anything's happened in your dad's life that he would think is a defining event, something that made him think/act/live differently that would be a good place to start.. or just a memorable event... but something that you can start off with a description of.. then lead onto the desicions he made/the way he reacted to this event which were influenced with things he'd done before.. then go chronologically back up to the original event and then continue to today!
What do you think? Answer below!
